POSITION VACANT – Intake and Engagement Coordinator

 This is a great opportunity for an experienced Intake and Engagement Coordinator to join our NDIS Team on a part-time basis in the Far North Coast NSW, with intermittent travel to successfully support operations in the Northern Territory.

CASPA Services Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of specialised care services to support complex trauma-based needs for children, young people and families, people with disability, and people with mental illness. Our programs include Therapeutic Intensive Residential Care, Intensive Family Preservation, Therapeutic Foster Care, Restoration, and other associated care types, we are a registered NDIS provider and operate a social enterprise Maintenance and repairs business. ABOUT THE ROLE

The Intake and Engagement Coordinator successfully enhances and manages the intake process for NDIS Services within CASPA. This 12 month fixed-term role involves approximately 3 days per week in which you will effectively oversee program growth through improved marketing strategies, strong customer service, pro-active outreach and professional networking, while ensuring efficient support to NDIS intake staff and participants to achieve high-quality service delivery.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience working within the NDIS sector with special consideration to those who hold experience with disability, children and young people who have experienced trauma, and whose values align with ours:

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring the intake process for eligible NDIS participants is managed effectively and efficiently
  • Maintaining a Client Relationship Management database and enquiries through collecting current and accurate information
  • Recording, analysing and reporting on intake data
  • Implementation of Marketing & Communications plan
  • Pro-active outreach to external stakeholders to support the growth of CASPA NDIS services
  • Leadership of NDIS intake staff and implementation of internal projects
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required to support program demand
  • General administration tasks as required
  • Contribute to a proactive and positive team culture
  • WHS responsibilities.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Certificate IV or above in an appropriate field such business administration, mental health, social work, youth work, disability support, community services and/or a minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work within a team environment
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks depending on urgency
  • Excellent and engaging customer service skills
  • Demonstrated disability sector experience with a working knowledge of NDIS and the Quality & Safeguards Framework
  • Experience implementing a NDIS marketing and communications plan
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience in working autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail and the ability to use initiative and meet deadlines
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Desired - Knowledge within a not for profit community services setting
  • Desired - Commitment to the welfare, rights and personal development of people with a disability
  • Desired - Skills in research and effective report writing

Working with Children and Criminal History Checks are requirements for all child related employment at CASPA.
